Here’s what past students are saying…

  • Dakotah J. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ My 200hr YTT was an informative and impactful experience. Not only do I feel ready to go out and teach I also learned so much more about what else is out there to explore. I have taken on the mantra of this program “Always a Student”. This is just the beginning but it was an amazing start.

  • Sofia V. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Great program. The trainings, guest speakers and knowledge shared were top notch.

  • Mary P. 4.5 out of 5 ⭐️ Inspiring teachers.

  • Sydney B. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Kosha Yoga School teaches with a lens of empowering students to always keep learning and to share the gift of yoga with others. It was a lovely experience to be part of.

  • Lindsay P. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ There is so much I can say about Diana but I’ll leave it at this. She loves her students and takes their success as her top priority. Our school was met with a few unavoidable/personal blows during our teaching and it would have been easy to get swept aside. Diana was having none of that, she swooped in and made finishing on time her top priority. Going through YTT with Diana made me step out and know I can do this and that she will always be there to support.

  • Rena N. 4.5 out of 5 ⭐️ Great experience and environment to learn. Loved all the practice teaching we did to feel comfortable when we go out and do our own teaching.

There are limited spots in the training.

Meet the Teachers

Lead teacher and owner of Kosha Yoga School

Diana Steven

Diana is a Yoga Teacher and Wellness Coach. She’s a natural born teacher and leader in the wellness industry. As a wellness coach she works with clients 1:1 through her Yoga, Meditation and Breathwork program.

She originally went to the University of Sioux Falls from 2006-2011 for her Elementary Education, Early Childhood degree. She quickly learned she wasn't built for a regular 9-5 so she went off the beaten path in search of something more fitting for her creative mind, sensitive heart and love for helping others.

Her passion for health and healing began after a car accident in 2013 that left her with chronic pain, daily headaches and PTSD. Knowing she wanted to heal naturally, she went down a path of self healing and discovered yoga, meditation, breathwork, plant medicines and holistic nutrition. She fell in love with coaching and entrepreneurship after going through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a Health Coach which is when she started her wellness business in 2016.

She moved to Napa, California in 2017 and studied Ashtanga yoga exclusively for 3 years. She did her first 200hr yoga teacher training in 2017 at Napa Valley Yoga Center. She taught public, event, corporate, and private yoga around the valley for 4 years. She also had the pleasure of being apart of 3 teacher trainings at Napa Valley Yoga Center.

In 2018, she became trained in Level 3 Kali-Ki Reiki.

In 2019, she did a 100hr Chakras and Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training with Experience Alaya Yoga in Costa Rica.

She's practiced with many world-renowned yoga teachers like Courtney Willis, Korey Schafer, Jai Dev Singh, Uma (Ashleigh) Sergeant, Meg McCracken, Keno MacGregor, Tim Feldmann, Rachel Brathen, Tim Miller, Rod Stryker, Sianna Sherman, and Taylor Hunt.

She moved back to Sioux Falls to be closer to family and began teaching yoga and teacher training with Jamie Clark and dear friend, Kendra Brouwer, the original owner and creator of Kosha Yoga School. Kendra passed away from breast cancer on October 22, 2022. Before Kendra passed, she asked Diana to continue on with Kosha Yoga School and Diana graciously accepted.

Diana's unique background in holistic nutrition, energy healing, mindset work and yoga makes her a one-of-kind teacher. Her unique teaching style is steeped in tradition and creative, uplifting energy. Her favorite style to teach and practice is Vinyasa and Kundalini Flow, which is her own special mix of kundalini kriyas, pranayama, and vinyasa.

Outside of being a busy entrepreneur, you'll find Diana loving on her chi-weenie pup, Frankie Rose, practicing and studying for her 300hr YTT or whatever rabbit hole her curiosity takes her, weight training, going to her families' lake house in Okoboji, dancing and karaoke with friends, live music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Lead teacher, Jamie Clark

Jamie is a Yoga Teacher, Health and Life Coach and Licensed Massage Therapist.

Jamie graduated from nursing school from Western Dakota Vocational College in 1991 as an LPN. She worked in orthopedic, neurology, women’s health and family practice.

What led her to go to massage school was because she developed a severe latex allergy. Having never had a massage, she intuitively knew she needed to sign up for massage therapy school.

6 months after graduation, she started teaching the nutrition part of the massage therapy course and fell in love with teaching. She then taught the anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, medical terminology and student clinic. This led to co-directing the program and later directing the massage therapy program in Rapid City, SD.

Jamie has been teaching yoga since 2009. Her passion to teach came unexpectedly, after receiving first hand the benefits of a regular yoga practice to heal a running injury.

Jamie was hooked and received her 200hr training from YogaFit in 2011 in Hood River, Oregon. Her second 300hr certification was from Kula Collective in 2017 in Fort Collins, CO. Jamie met Kendra Brouwer, original Kosha Yoga School creator, through yoga teacher training in Sioux Falls. Fast forward to 2022 when Kendra asked Jamie to be apart of Kosha Yoga School which is how Jamie and Diana connected!

She’s currently deepening her studies of Ayurveda with Katherine Templeton.

She’s also a certified holistic health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and certified life coach through Heart Inspired Presentations.

Jamie has studied with world-renowned teachers like Stephanie Adams Ruff, Adi Paul Marino, CJ Ananda Page, Julia Randall, Krista Davis, Tracy Rich, Ganga White, Seane Corn, Dr. Baxter Bell, and many more.

Through her experience, she teaches her students how to make the mind/body connection, by using yoga asana and body awareness to show how it relates to life off the mat.

She enjoys teaching creative vinyasa classes with focus on pranayama and alignment. Jamie continues to spread the LOVE for yoga by teaching to all levels of students.

When she's not teaching yoga, giving a massage or crystal chakra healing, she enjoys biking, hiking, SUP, kayaking, and camping.
